Will this restore foggy/faded/yellowed headlights or clear plastics?

No, this product was not made to restore foggy or faded clear plastics such as headlights. To properly restore your faded headlights back to their original condition, it takes a bit of effort. The top layer becomes yellow/hazy from damaging UV rays. You need to sand down the top damaged layer and refinish them with a new clear-coat. After you're done fixing them, you can use CAR GUYS Plastic Restorer to keep them protected as our product contains durable UV protection.

Is this a dye and is it only for black material?

No, this is not a dye! It will restore the material back to whatever its original color was. Works excellent to bring faded black or grey materials, and if you have any color faded materials it will bring it back to its original shine and finish.

Is this only for interior and exterior automotive surfaces?

No! This can be used for a variety of applications such as a car's bumper, a jeep or Chevy Avalanche truck that has tons of plastic, plus your RV or motorcycle! Yes! This acts like a sealant by leaving a durable UV protectant guard to shield away harmful UV rays that cause fading, browning, and cracking.

What kind of prep work or aftercare is involved, is it easy to use?

This product is extremely easy to use! Simply clean the surface using CAR GUYS Super Cleaner spray or any other type of cleaner that effectively wipes and cleans off any old dressings, oil, and dirt. Apply a small amount onto our included applicator pad and wipe onto the surface. After 10-15 minutes, buff down any excess product and you’re done! In the future, simply clean treated surfaces with regular soap and water.
