Sprayable vehicle undercoating offering durable rust protection to the undercarriages of cars, trucks, trailers, and RVs. Protects your vehicle against rust, corrosion and mechanical abrasion. A durable, thixotropic, fast drying anti corrosion coating based on polymerized bitumen. The product has excellent sound deadening qualities and offers durable rust protection to the chassis of cars, truck and coaches. After the product has completely dried it remains a tough adhesive film that offers good protection against various climates and gravel. Completely Dries with a Permanent Tacky Coating to Assure Flexibility in Low Temperatures. Shake before use. The surfaces to be treated must be clean, dry, rust-, dust-and grease free. TK44 can be applied by light airless equipment, but also by an airmix pistol with an air-pressure of 3-6 bar / 45 to 90 psi. Optimum spraying distance is about 1 foot. Depending on the application, the product can be thinned using a solvent. Spray the surface until the desired layer thickness is reached. If thicker layers are wanted it is to be recommended to dry the layers in between. Overspray, or equipment contaminated with overspray, must be cleaned while still wet with a solvent such as Mineral Spirits. Storage Requirements: The product may not be stored under +10°C / 50°F and above +30°C / 85°F. The packaging must be protected from direct sunlight and heat. When stored in a cool, dry and well ventilated area, the product has a shelf life of 2 years in unopened, original packaging. Depending on the viscosity of the sprayed product, a thinner might have to be mixed in (consult product manufacturer for appropriate thinning agent). If product is hard to spray through the wand, shortening the wand might help.
